Relocation to a larger facility in Port Elizabeth will boost the total solutions offered by the Goscor Group in the Eastern Cape, particularly Goscor Cleaning Equipment (GCE), according to MD Greg Venter.
This follows Goscor Lift Truck Company (GLTC) having outgrown its previous Port Elizabeth branch, and relocating to larger premises at the corner of Swartkops and Broad Streets in North End. The new facility conforms to ISO 9001: 2015 standards.
It effectively doubles the size of the previous premises, translating into better stockholding for all equipment ranges in the Goscor Group stable, particularly GCE. “This also means better response times for all aspects of the business, translating into increased uptime for our customers,” Venter highlights.
The Port Elizabeth branch provides a comprehensive range of services, from sales to rentals (both short- and long-term), to parts and services, for all the various products under the GCE and GLTC umbrella.
GCE offers well-known products such as Tennant, Ghibli, Kaivac, Delfin and Maer, while GLTC is the sole distributor of leading forklift brands such as Crown, Doosan, Bendi, Hubtex, and BHS Battery Handling Solutions.
“This allows us to offer a full basket of materials-handling and warehousing solutions to our diverse customer base,” Venter comments. The continued growth of the Port Elizabeth branch is attributable to the strong brand presence of GCE, combined with its superior service and aftersales support, in addition to the flexibility of being able to offer a broad range of machines for various applications.
