Since 1984, we have been providing holistic, green cleaning solutions for various operations from carpets to runways.

We boast factory trained technical staff who service all machines and offer a comprehensive after-sales service. Machines are sold with factory-backed guarantee and we offer customised maintenance plan options with our Support Plus plans. Machine operator training is provided with every sale.

We have offices in Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town and Nelspruit with reputable agents in Polokwane, Richards Bay, East London and Bloemfontein ensuring minimum downtime.

Barry Owen

Barry joined Goscor in March 2017, after serving as the head of African operations of a large steel merchant. He boasts vast experience in leadership roles in a range of industries, including management consulting, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemicals, franchising, and wholesaling. Apart from working in South Africa, he has worked on projects and in businesses in several continents of the world, including Western and Eastern Europe, North America, South America, Australasia, and Africa.

Barry holds an MBA degree, as well as a BSc (Medicine) Honours degree and a BSc cum laude degree in Biochemistry. He is a passionate cyclist, golfer and sportsman who is happily married with three sons.

Francois Otto

Francois holds a B Com degree from Unisa and completed his articles at a medium-sized Audit Firm in Cape Town.

He joined an Industrial Equipment group in December 1999 as Financial Manager in Cape Town and relocated to Johannesburg during 2002 for the same group where he fulfilled Financial Manager roles locally and in the UK for a total of 10 years.

Francois joined the Goscor Group in January 2010 as the Group Financial Manager.

Peter Esterhuizen

Peter is a results-driven and highly respected leader in the cleaning equipment industry, bringing over 27 years of experience and a proven track record in strategic leadership and business development. Known for his ability to craft and execute successful business strategies, Peter is equally passionate about empowering people, building high-performing teams, and fostering strong relationships across diverse, multi-cultural environments.

His journey in the industry began in 1998 as a Sales Representative at WAP South Africa, followed by an impressive tenure at Nilfisk, where he steadily progressed through the ranks—from Branch Manager to Gauteng Sales Manager, and ultimately National Sales Manager.

Peter joined Goscor Cleaning Equipment in 2016 and rapidly advanced to National Sales Director. In recognition of his impactful leadership and strategic insight, he was appointed Managing Director in July 2025. His leadership and dedication have played a pivotal role in driving growth and strengthening the company’s position as a market leader.

Outside of work, Peter is a devoted family man who enjoys quality time with his family and proudly supports his three sport-loving daughters.

Wesley Bodmer

Wesley Bodmer began his journey with Goscor through a learnership programme as a parts counter salesman at the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) branch in September of 2002. When the Goscor Group restructured in 2003, Wesley moved with the Cleaning Equipment division, where he expanded his skills by supporting both sales and the technical workshop teams.

By 2004, Wesley was managing the parts and service department in KZN and driven by a desire to grow, transitioned into customer support and sales under the mentorship of the Branch Manager. In 2007, Wesley assumed full sales responsibility and went on to lead the branch from 2012 as KZN Branch Manager.

In 2020, Wesley relocated to Johannesburg with his family to take on national responsibilities, managing the service department across the country as National After Sales Manager. His leadership contributed to multiple team successes, including the JHB service team being named GCE Team of the Year in 2024 for their performance in 2023.

Over the years, Wesley has received numerous accolades, including top sales awards within the GCE Group and global recognition from Tennant, ranking among their top 10 salespeople worldwide for two consecutive years. In 2018, he also led the KZN branch to win GCE Team of the Year for the 2017 performance.

Appointed as Operations Director in July 2025, Wesley brings over two decades of hands-on experience, a deep understanding of the business, and a proven passion for customer service and team development.

Outside of work, Wesley enjoys golf, running, Padel, staying active, and spending quality time with his family.

ISO 9001:2015 is based on seven principles: Customer Focus, Leadership, Engagement of People, Process Approach, Improvement, Evidence-Based Decision-Making, and Relationship Management. However, according to the new standard, the primary focus of an organisation’s quality management programme is to meet customer requirements and exceed expectations in terms of the quality of products and services.
