Vactor handover to Sight Lines Pipe Survey Services

On the 26th of May, Sight Lines Pipe Survey Services (A division of Wasteman Holdings (Pty) Ltd) were delighted to receive their two Vactor 2110 Combination Jetting Machines from Goscor Cleaning Equipment. Sight Lines currently operate 7 Vactors and have recently expanded their operations creating a need for additional equipment. The sale is estimated to be worth over R6 million.

The methodology of a combination jetting machine is simple. Have sufficient water power to dislodge a blockage or build-up and enough flow to carry this material to a point where the vacuum can remove the debris. Removing the debris is critical to the long-term success of doing the job as this limits the possibility of further blockages down the line from the same debris which caused the original blockage.

Vactors, equipped to perform some of the most demanding jobs, boast a 10m2 hopper, dual fan configuration for increases suction power, a front mounted hose reel and a telescopic vacuum boom for accessibility. The jetting pump is hydraulically driven which gives the “Vactor Exclusive” hammer-action at the end of the nozzle. With this configuration, the cleaning of sewer systems, storm water systems and culverts to name a few, becomes an easy task. These jetting units are built for extremely demanding applications – something they have exceeded with great ease!

This colossal handover was welcomed by: (from left to right) Claude Marais, Renier Ellis and Andre Botha (Goscor Cleaning Company), Steve Barnaro (Sight Lines), Colin Shaw (International), Graham Beattie (Sight Lines), Solomon Menzhelele (Sight Lines), Samuel Ndlovu (Sight Lines) and Paulus Mokabane (Sight Lines).

Hilton van Vuuren (Sector Specialist:  Mining & Industry) of Goscor Cleaning Equipment was responsible for co-ordinating the sale.
